Learning by playing, it is possible!
My specialty is using pedagogical games (created on my own or found online or in a shop) to stimulate language learning.
How does it work? When we are learning, we are experiencing different emotions, which makes it possible to create more powerful connections in our brain and to remember better what we have learned.
But there is more! Thanks to pedagogical games (I do not like the word "serious"), you can develop a less formal vision of what learning is and actually enjoy working hard. The different games' mechanisms (collaboration, competition, rapidity, precision) also allow you to increase your motivation.
